“One of the deepest longings of the human soul is to be seen.”
-John O’Donohue
sacred seeing.
In the contemplative practice Visio Divina, sacred seeing, you sit with an image to see what is there—but also what’s beyond it. This kind of stillness—this posture of deep listening—invites wonder. And I believe wonder is where everything begins.
This sacred seeing is at the heart of everything I do at Juniper House. For me, it’s the thread that runs through spiritual direction and storytelling and what gets me up in the morning. Thanks for being here.
